A pungent reminder of how it might of been before wars. Thanks SC. You have a way of touching the spirit through visual and sound. That was a beautiful representation of a commemorative array of art and music on this special day.
There will be wars and rumors of wars, I cannot remember the last time there was real peace. Do you think we will ever learn to live in peace on this Earth? Christians don't think so, and Jews wonder. I may have more in common with my Jewish friends, because I wonder too.

I know that problem, Spade! (from yesterday).
"Beau Soir" -- beautiful evening -- is another fine contribution for our collective admiration, and most timely. The choice of images & music is impeccable.
Your words/questions have great resonance with the times, and sad to say, no, I cannot really remember a time before war.
It seems to me that a war of some kind has been raging in one place or another ever since I can remember.

Debussy & Izak Perlman ..... quite a combo.
Again a good media mix and quite a poignant story/ideal to tell or hope for.
Even without the sound, the interplay of words and paintings was simple and powerful.
With the music, the total piece is like a quietly falling feather that hits the ground like two tons of steel; beautiful and mesmerizing in presentation yet eye opening in final intent.
Once it sinks in that there has never been an extended time of peace in the recorded history of mankind you start to question why that has been so. Is this the nature of the beast or is there a way that we all, individually and collectively, can solve the 'conflict matrix' and put the 'need for war' back into Pandora's box.
Hopefully 'we' can.
Kudos spade.
This one is a real winner.

I"m not sure how one should rate something that makes one feel so sad, for war has taken the lives of so many, and of those many were innocent and many were young, so I guess all I will say is thanks for making me remember that life is so special.

I believe most of us know that war is a moral atrocity; and for those of us who have been in war, we know that more than the injuries and physical death, it poisons the soul.
That we can even imagine life without war is a testament to the higher self in us all. Perhaps in us all exists a place where we can glimpse the best of humanity. I did not create this video and poem to discourage or depress, but to lift our imaginations to the best we could seek to achieve. When we fall short, it would be a wonderful consolation to look back and realize a new truth; the world is less violent because we cherish peace.

I thought I would attempt to explain why this caused me saddness. When I was younger I fought alot with people usually for the reason that I thought I was better than them or because I was right, I also learned to kill with a gun and although I never had to kill a person I knew that I could. I was proud of being able to make the perfect kill. Then one day while looking down the sights of my gun something inside of me asked the simple question which was "who made you God, to judge and kill". I consider myself lucky because I listened to that voice and I chose to change and I know of that world without war. My saddness come from those who never hear that voice or choose to ignore it. There are times when I still believe that peace is possible, one example I like to used is when the space shuttle blew up while launching and the world lost seven people, the loss of those seven innocent people touched the hearts of nearly every person who saw it, which gave me hope for humanity.

... a despicable speciman of a human being. Too much of a whimp and a coward to even communicatee about the reason for his/her sinks; not that most of us don't already know.
You wouldn't believe the stories that this creep sinks. My videos on the holocaust were no exception either... I've become used to this gnat flying around my stories.
Best to look at it this way: look at all the people who have enjoyed the video and the dialogue, and then compare that number to this one bafoon...
